Eucharistic Adoration

Eucharistic Adoration

“The Eucharist is 'the source and summit of the Christian life.' The other sacraments, and indeed all ecclesiastical ministries and works of the apostolate, are bound up with the Eucharist and are oriented toward it. For in the blessed Eucharist is contained the whole spiritual good of the Church, namely Christ himself, our Pasch.”
+Catechism of the Catholic Church #1324+

Eucharistic Adoration is the practice of adoring Jesus who is truly present in the Most Blessed Sacrament. This ministry helps to ensure that scheduled adorers are always present when Our Lord is exposed on the altar. They promote prayer, love for, and adoration of Jesus in the Holy Eucharist, and they recruit and train scheduled adorers.

If you want to spend time with Jesus, below is the schedule for Eucharistic Adoration at our churches here at RCCV. Drop-in visitors are always welcome!
  • Monday to Thursday 8:30 AM - 9:00 PM  at St. James

  • Every 1st Thursday 6:00 - 7:00 PM at OLOV (w/ music) "Fill the Valley"
