In the Catholic Church, a Jubilee or Holy Year is a special year of forgiveness and reconciliation, in which people are invited to come back into right relationship with God, with one another, and with all of creation.

Our Pastoral Parish Council would like to obtain feedback to help foster a loving, supportive and Christ-centered community for all. We encourage you to complete this survey to help guide the parishes of the Vernon Area (St. James, OLOV, St. Benedict and Sacred Heart).

The giving tree is back! We invite parishioners that wish to participate to take a tag, purchase a winter coat, then return the coat & tag to the church.

Please join us for a family evening of Christmas carols, outdoor fire, tobogganing (if enough snow), cookies and hot chocolate. To support local families for this Christmas, we are accepting donations in the form of gift cards for groceries, clothing, toys, etc. please bring it with you.

Every 1st Thursday of the month, we gather as a community at Our Lady of the Valley Church to adore Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament through worship music, prayers, and reflections.

The Catholic Book Club meets on alternate Wednesday mornings from 9 - 10 AM, to read and discuss books that will help us learn more about our Catholic Faith.
